TheNest.com has had this recipe for red velvet cake posted for the longest time. I was in the mood to bake today so I thought I would decide to try it. I had nothing to lose. I have to say, it is very good! I was actually surprised. I'm not really sure why, but I was. I am surrounded by people who love chocolate so I decided to use my own recipe for fudge frosting rather than sticking with traditional vanilla.
